hey, when i download and scan the file, it says this is a trojan: Trojan:Script/Wacatac.H!ml
Windows Defender says: Trojan:Script/Wacatac.H!ml
Coud be a false positive, but not trusting the file anyway since I normally don’t get any detections here.
its at random, we had this issue in 2020 too, microsoft randomly sends update to windows defender that breaks it and then suddenly it detects randomly trojan on passworded rar files, we dont have any viruses.

You can either skip downloading files and wait for windows defender to patch itself and suddenly no files will have trojan och live with it and stop downloading and enjoy “microsoft security”
@collecter, you may be right. but Chrome also was set off independant off on this one, but no other files DL’s
thats because google subscribes to whatever threat blacklist that windows defender uses as well, they are all connected
there is no viruses here. you’re more than welcome to send the file to an expert and he can analyze it in a container, its just a rar file with a video inside, i cannot do anything about these false flaggings except wait for microsoft to patch them away just like they did in 2020 when we had this shit happen as well.
Windows Defender seems to be sorted out as far as this is considered. Didn’t trigger anything today.
