Can I suggest then trying Topaz 5.3.2 or higher for your Enhancements if you haven’t already? I’ve enhanced this very clip from another source and had almost none of the ghosting as seen in your thumbnails going to 1440p @60fps. I see this ghosting a fair bit here is why I mention it. Just trying to offer maybe an option to improve quality on your enhancements. Cheers and tnx for the work you all do!
i dont think you can get rid of the ghosting as it is in the original render, the source is progressive but the camera which was used to record was probably interlaced so the guy who made the content did the mistake when he added the watermarks to the video by rendering a interlaced source directly to progressive without deinterlacing it first. the remasters can’t do much if the source is already progressive, we can sharpen the image and improve the color, we can also reduce the amount of ghosting effect by using a blurring effect but that reduces the overall image quality to the point where its not worth it
