any media player that isn't "windows media player" will handle standard mp4/mkv container files, this is nothing special, my browser can even play this particular mp4 if i drag and drop it ontop of firfox, the problem is definitely on your side.

extract using winrar, it'll ask for a password, use the site url
This happened to me on my windows PC, the reason is that the default Windows extractor will extract the file, but never ask for a password. So whatever .mp4 you end up with is still encrypted (garbled more likely) and won't play. Use WinRAR or any respectable extractor, which will prompt you for the password and extract it correctly.
thanks, thats interesting, i guess thats windows 11 build in extraction in explorer? makes sense that microsoft yet again attempts to build something into the os thats as always absolute garbage and cannot really deal with all archive types, whats even worse is that it extracts and gives you the illusion of it working, thanks for reporting this i will add it to the faq
